WYOGIVES 2025

Growing Together: Investing in Your Goshen County Library

The Goshen County Library Foundation is dedicated to ensuring our library thrives, now and for generations to come. We achieve this through the generous support of our community, including gifts, endowments, memorials, and vital fundraising initiatives.

We sincerely thank you for your strong support of the library as a community cornerstone. Your generosity has contributed to recent improvements, including a completed parking lot for safer access and an upcoming outdoor space for learning. Additionally, our “power-up” project is underway to enhance essential technology services.

We’re also thrilled to announce that recent grant funding will allow us to enhance accessibility within the library. Soon, we will add an ADA-accessible computer desk and install lower shelving, making our resources available to all community members.

WyoGives 2025 – Investing in Our Future

This year, we come to you with an important opportunity to further strengthen your library. Due to a recent decrease in property tax revenue, the library is facing a significant funding shortfall. To ensure we can continue to offer the programs and resources to our community, the Goshen County Library Foundation is participating in WyoGives on July 16th.

  2. Supporting Book Purchases – $5,000: Help us maintain a vibrant and up-to-date collection, providing access to a diverse range of books and resources for all ages and interests.
  3. Creating a Welcoming Space: Replacing Activity Center Flooring – $10,000: The Activity Center, used for programs and community events, will benefit from new flooring to enhance safety and create a welcoming environment.
  4. Ensuring Access for All: Installing an Accessibility Button on the Activity Center Door – $10,000: This essential addition will make the Activity Center easily accessible to individuals with mobility challenges.

We are excited to participate in the Hughes Charitable Foundation Incentive Pool during WyoGives on July 16th. Donations made ONLINE to the Goshen County Library Foundation will be boosted by a $1,000,000 incentive pool, enhancing your contribution’s impact.
